I have a used 2000 Fuji Finest I got with upgraded pedals and seat. I like the Cro-Moly feel of it and the size was right. This summer, I am switching over to Eggbeater clipless pedals then possibly swap out the Sora components for 105s or maybe some DuraAce but will hold off purchasing a new bike until after I graduate college.

Ive been out of since my racing days, so I wasnt sure what to even look for.
Originally I was headed towards a straight ON road bike, or a hybrid, but was talked out of it. They asked what my intentions were and I told em just mainly leisurely riding, but I may get a bit aggresive at times and may wander off road. Thats when they showed me the 4300...too low end, the 4500...eh still a bit low..then the 6500 and 6500Disc. I went with the 6500 disc for the F/R disc brakes primarily. Most of what paid for the bike was ego factor though. Im sure I would have been fine with the lower ends as a new starting point.

what kinda components are on the bike? ie derailleur etc. the link took me to the front page.
Looks like a good bike, minimal SRAM which is what I like. Only thing I would suggest is looking for LX or XT shifters and front derailleur

****. I never rode mt bikes much, looked fun as hell though...Been in BMX for about 13 years now. I raced for awhile and had a flow with S&M. Now it's mostly late night sessions at my favorite rail :] or just flowing through the city. Its more like a lifestyle for me now.
My dads best friend does the road racing thing, its crazy, he bikes like 30miles+ a DAY, his bike is like lighter than my shoe and is just nuts, my bike is like 34lbs and im runnin alot of titanium and hollow shit *sigh* oh well.....::...bmx ftw...::......

my mountain bike is actually lighter then my road bike..
