My new single cab truck box tuned LOOOWWW

Just built a new box for my truck. I was tired of the center box being in there and not having a center seat, so i went back to a behind the seat box. This box is 2.3 cubes tuned to 31.3 hz. Just in a quick test session is doesn't seem as loud at 40 hz (my peak fq in my truck) but it is a LOW END MONSTER. It can play all the way down to 20 hz without breaking a sweat. I've got peal and seal over the box now because a couple of panels are 3/4 plywood, so i did that to strengthen the box and to seal it on all the joints. I still need to carpet it (once i get ahold of an air compressor). I think it will be around a 140 on the TL, but i think i've got a 135 at 25 hz in it right now. But only time and a trip to hook up a TL will tell.

And btw, the rattle you hear is the sliding back glass (really need a solid back glass).

Thanks. Still need to carpet it to make it look pretty and clean up the wires a little but other than that i'm keeping this for a while. I'd like to do a 15 (i have the room for it, and still fit comfortably in the truck but just not enough room with the stinger battery back there). I'm very happy with how musical this box is though and will play any low song you throw at it.

you could always build a battery box in the bed to put the stinger in.

I have debated the battery box in the bed, but i don't want a toolbox back there, so that's out. I'm honestly happy with the way it plays now. If i ever upgrade it, i'll go with 2 10's or 3-4 8's. I love my Powerbass ASA1500.1 so whatever i do in the future will be running off that.

Yeah. Hopefully sometime soon. I'd like to just meet up with someone with a meter, and not just go to a comp because i'd like to play around and see what it does at certain frequencies. Anyone close to Stillwater (OKC or tulsa area) with a TL?
