My new ride...

it would take a while for us foreigners to learn to drive one of them.
It doesnt take long--I got stationed in Thailand for a month and had to drive a manual truck the whole time I was over there with everything on the wrong side. It took a little while to get use to shifting, but after a day it was a blast

My old job required me to drive an old postal jeep, so I had to drive right hand drive on our roads... it wasn't bad - people certainly looked at me a tad odd though.

car will be on the road for about $AU10,000 total, including everything, thats $US7,900...
the actual car itself was only about $AU3000, there was a $1000 agents fee, $3000 for compliance (to make the car meet Australian design standards) about $2500 shipping, taxes, duty, etc, and $500 for a roadworthy inspection, plus registration //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

its a car that was never available from new in Australia, its the same engine as the twin turbo Supra (2JZGTE) but in a 4 door sedan //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif so, most of the performance Supra parts will fit on the Aristo.

Nice find, put a T88 ballbearing on that sucka!

the japanese will do anything they can to get rid of those after about 65k miles due to the taxes the government has put in place over there. I guess their way of boosting the economy proves useful for alot of us. I just wish it was as easy to import those cars here.

id just want an engine from one of said cars, and plop it in mine.

low mileage, cheap? awesome!

no no, its already twin turbo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif it came completely stock like that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I'm considering spending about 6000 bucks, to get around 380rwkw (over 500hp) but I think I'll just aim for 250-300rwkw for now.
6grand for ~250-300 horses is a bit steep lol. 6 grand should get you a bit more than that....seeing as you already have the turbo setup.

either way, the car is ugly, but i the motor looked fimiliar to me. please dont ruin the motor with your ugly.

kilowatts, not horses...

the 380rwkw is 510hp, and that was the $6000 project.

the 250rwkw is 335hp, and the stock turbos should do that (till they die, and then its single bigger turbo, etc) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

250rwkw (335hp) should be done for under $3000 easily //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

300 extra. not 300 total. you figure 1 horse per dollar (american) so thats what? 1kw per 1 peso? lol.

regaurdless....with the right equipment and right tuning....you shouldnt spend 6k or anywhere near it.
