My New Moofer

I decided to throw this thing together for shits and giggles.

Motor is a Mach 5 SPL, 4 layer alum coil, triple stiff spiders, high roll surround, 10" 12 spoke basket

thanks to ssacket and PAP for parts.

Yeah it's doing good so far, I glued it down just to be sure. I had to use a claw hammer to pry it out of the box for pics.

looks like a dc motor. where u get the cone with the surrond? to remove the bloom(white residue) from the dust cap couple drops of ca remover on a rag and wipe.

Thanks I will look into the ca remover, but I'm not one who cares about looks especially.

Well since im only running like 150 watts to it currently, I think it is plenty.

I have been nothing but pleased with Mach 5's products to this point.

The box is ported ~ 1.15cubes @ 40 hz with a single 4" external port. It is just temporary thrown together box until I have a chance to build a proper one.

It's a 10", I'm surprised I forgot to mention it in my original post.

Yeah those level 5 10's wont even fit in the cutout. Those things must be crazy.
