A place that repairs speakers, make sure they are reputable.
If they take your sub and screw it, then you will be screwed.
Here's what to try, if you have a grill on it...take it off.
Get someone to help u...put the speaker on at about half volume...or when the bass jus starts to kick. Then firmly press on the top of the gasket. Try pressing all four sides at the same time ( two ppl). If the noise stops or decreases...then the gasket is the problem. If not, tinsel slap.
