A place that repairs speakers, make sure they are reputable.

If they take your sub and screw it, then you will be screwed.

Here's what to try, if you have a grill on it...take it off.

Get someone to help u...put the speaker on at about half volume...or when the bass jus starts to kick. Then firmly press on the top of the gasket. Try pressing all four sides at the same time ( two ppl). If the noise stops or decreases...then the gasket is the problem. If not, tinsel slap.

I think a proper reconing specialist would do the job well. I'm sure others could do it.

I took my blown gaskets to a speaker repair specialist and now everything is in order.

well i think it is the gasket cause when i push on the bottom right of the sub on the gasket the noise gets to where you can barely hear it so if i take it to a audio place you think they will charge more than 30 to fix it

Yeh ask around first though. Make sure the ppl in the store know exactly what they are doing. How old is the sub ? If it's under warranty you can try to get a new one or they might repair it for free.
