looks really good, i was wondering what r the advantages/disadvantages of reverse mounting your subs? how does it change the sound if at all?

when i did it in my old install it just let me show off my soundstream spl 160's and let me make the box smaller due to no frame/motor displacement

as for sound, you just reverse the + - wires going to the sub so that the sub sucks out just like a normal mounted sub would pound out, sounds the exact same

reversing the + and - would be the same effect as switching the phase from 0 to 180 degress right?

yuh but flippin phase can have an effect on your bass.... it does somethin hehe is an old trick sound off competitors do (and they dont share it...eric stephens of image dynamics and the guy from brooklyn's best audio told me it (the guy that always finished second to eldridge with the camaro i forget his name!!! ack) i will give you a hint..6 feet means alot here....

its a phase shift aka time delay...aka gives you bass upfront.....
