stock alt finally took a dump, so i picked up a 200amp from motorcity reman... also picked up a new duralast gold batt and some more 1/0 wirings
i have an 02 mustang that comes stock with the 6g alternator, but i said F that, and i "upgraded" to a 3g... only thing i had to do was make a plug for the regulator... bolted right up fit perfectly
(2) runs of 1/0 from alt to battery +
(2) runs of 1/0 from batt - to chassis ground
(1) run of 1/0 from chassis to engine block
(1) run of 1/0 from engine to batt -
i havent really fooled around with the voltmeter a whole lot yet cause its been so ****ing hott, but it runs 14.4 at idle, and maintains 14.4 with lights, A/C on high, and system on a low-medium level
