how do you guys feel about "burning in" your headphones. do you guys notice any real change in the sound? im on hour 6 of 100
those look comfy! i want //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifI've got a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-A700 and they are the best thing I've EVER listened to. When I show them off, people want to run off with them. They are closed-back headphones and my oh MY are they SO comfortable. The sound is AMAZING and they have a new version of these, the ATH-A900 that I haven't tried, but if it's an upgrade to what I currently have... I can't wait to try them!

that's what i'm going to be doing. 100 hours doesnt seem so bad like thatNice. I love Audio-Technica headphones I have the ATH-AD700 and they are great. I was thinking about picking up some of the white M50's for better bass and to reduce "sound leakage."
I did notice a difference after awhile of burn in. The bass became a little more prominent and the mids really came to life. I just set my desktop to shuffle songs at a pretty loud volume for hours while I was at school and after a few days they seemed to be better.
I don't feel I really need an amp with mine. I do have a Fiio E5 but it doesn't make that much of a noticeable difference. My buddy had some AKG's and Beyer's running off a tube amp and that was quite impressive. But it did cost 2-3 times more than I paid.
Those are some cute headphones
pfc brito? wahhhh?

theyre mad comfortable. they fit me perfectly and i have pretty big earsI dont think I could stand having those huge fighter pilot looking headphones on my head long enough to listen to a song...
Before I got my AD700's, I only used ear buds. I had a really expensive pair of Sure buds. The headphones are really light and the ear pads are so comfortable. I can watch a few movies or listen to songs for hours and sometimes I forget I have them on. Audio-Technica makes some of the most comfortable headphones available, that is one reason I picked them over Sennheiser.I dont think I could stand having those huge fighter pilot looking headphones on my head long enough to listen to a song...
