It was about 4:30 and still light outside, its just the sub in is a badly lit spot.

Thats what the receiver is rated for, but i get the feeling its alot more than that.
The RMS is 100.

are you powering it through one of the rear (im guessing) channels off the receiver? can you even do that?

i've never heard the 8" kickers but i've heard 8w0's in the doors of a truck and they pounded fairly good.. i was suprized... also saw a show truck with mtx's in the doors but they were a lil over powered by like 12 10's in the back so couldn't really hear em

No, i need to buy a x-over yet, but the EQ helps some for now.

55 shipped? I must say that is a BARGAIN. I might look into those for my sister's small system.

I picked up a 10" version for roughly $25 shipped off Circuit City's ebay site. (Was a take back) Just using it for the small computer setup and feeding it 100 watts. Not a lot of low end, but thats a given.
