This is why I walk around my neighborhood strapped like a G. Everyone knows I'll shoot their **** if they don't keep it down.

I hate neighbors that can't come over and talk to each other civilly. I have some neighbors that call the cops to complain about the grass being too high (6"), or too much "garbage" (recycle bin in sight), but don't have the decency to just come over and talk about it.

I even had a neighbor call the cops on another neighbor because he was welding too late (in his garage) and the "flashing light was scaring her".

When I was about 16, we had a neighbor that would call the cops on everyone. To get him back, we would pack a bunch of our friends into a huge Caddilac Fleetwood and do burnouts in front of his house at 3AM. My neighbors dad Works nights and my friend is always coming outside to tell me to turn it down so his dad doesnt wake up. Cant even talk at normal level around him because its too much noise. I stopped caring because it just gets to the point where everything bothers them. However the longest i play my stuff is 4-5 minutes. Rarely do it. I think thats the limit too before getting a ticket while parked. anyway, ive let my car on and gone inside to see if it was really loud like they claim and i could barely hear it. Thats also why i dont pay much attention to them.Anyway for some reason it annoys me to hear someone drive by my house bumpin. Also i dont like the cocky mofos that like to turn it up when they hear you listening at regular level. Just my $0.02

this is why my HT subs get loud. my concrete walls kill it before the neighbor can get pissed. i don't have to stand on it out in my yard like a fuckin retard.

Since i got my setup, ive only played it outside a total of 4 times. I will say this, my neighborhood is far from quiet. Kids running outside and dogs barking and the the little imports speeding past the kids on the street. Music and bass from my car never gets really loud. I can actually play it all day without a problem. i do keep it between 5pm and 7pm when all the chaos is going on outside

I do agree to show some respect to your hobby. You could try getting some of your other neighbors interested if you haven't is some way pissed them off.

And the dogs?? If you hit one of them he is responsible for the damage to your vehicle. Just saying.......

So I go out to test a new CD today (I have the bass knob at half) and Out of the corner of my eye I see someone pacing back a forth, I don't pay any attention and just keep bumpin well when I get done I turn it down and my neighbor (like 3 houses down) comes over to my window and starts chewing me out for shaking his house and tells me he is going to call the cops if I don't stop.
When I tell him it is the middle of the day he says it does not matter what time it is if I am disturbing his peace inside his house that he is going to call the cops.

So my question is can you get in any trouble for bumpin in the middle of the day?

This. Cement block FTW. My HT is also literally in the middle of my home as well, so it all gets attenuated and barely detectable right outside of the home.
