My neighbors don't like me

So I go out to test a new CD today (I have the bass knob at half) and Out of the corner of my eye I see someone pacing back a forth, I don't pay any attention and just keep bumpin well when I get done I turn it down and my neighbor (like 3 houses down) comes over to my window and starts chewing me out for shaking his house and tells me he is going to call the cops if I don't stop.

When I tell him it is the middle of the day he says it does not matter what time it is if I am disturbing his peace inside his house that he is going to call the cops.

So my question is can you get in any trouble for bumpin in the middle of the day?

I 100% agree and if he would have showed me some and came up to me like a man and asked me to turn it down in a nice way I would have no problem with that but he came up to my window with his fist tight trying to act hard and is lucky I don't want to go to jail.

Yes you can get a ticket. Personally I don't play bass in my neighborhood. It lets people know you have system too.

I live in a small neighborhood and I am not worried about anyone in it stealing my stuff and like I said (and very calmly told him) I was just testing a new CD. Also all this is coming from a guy that lets his dogs run the streets jumping in front of cars and leaves them out barking all night.

i thought you were staying still? and a harley driving by is a brief 2 seconds. you were making the sound of a harley for a good 30 secs to a min lol

not where i live. they got rid of the sound violation law in my state. but disturbing the peace is a different thing.
