That's strictly opinionated. Yes, you are old school, I understand. But there is a new bread of us "bassheads" that like to "bump".

So op is an asshole for disturbing old people. You couldn't find a parking lot or something close by to do it? Just saying that would be common courtesy. Daytime or not have respect for your neighbors. The only reason he lashed out is cause you were bumpin.

We have no noise ordinance here, but yes I could still get a ticket for my system. But for that to happen someone would have to call(assuming I was riding through a neighborhood) the cops and say something. The cop then would have to pull me over and issue a warning first, if they catch me again that day then its a ticket. But here they have to first issue a warning no questions asked and if you dont comply then its a disturbing the peace ticket.

And if you're worried about his dogs you can also call your local pd and let them know there's dogs running wild in the neighborhood, most places have lease laws. Any amount I'm pretty sure it doesnt matter where you are your animals are supposed to stay in your yard and not running everywhere.

And I've had the cops come to my house because I was in my yard doing testing and the neighbors called. They nicely asked that I turn it down and went about their day.

So in short, yes you can get a ticket for it. But he can also get in trouble for his dogs running wild. But be the bigger man in the situation, it'll make you look better in the end.

Just because theres not a noise law doesnt mean the law cant do something about it. Its still disturbing the peace when you're trying to sleep:fyi:

i have called them in a few times but quit cause i was tired of being told theres nothing they can do..... maybe take matters into my own hands??

Sounds like you need to go a little higher up in the chain, if you call they HAVE to respond to it.
