My Mountaineer Man Double Shot box build

Well Mountaineer Man did this design for me awhile ago. I just finally got around to doing something with it.

Here is the design. It is his version of the Double Shot.

very nice build quality i wish i had access to a table saw. i don't quite understand the theory behind the double shot, does anyone wish to explain? but over all a very nice looking box. what finish are you going to put on it, carpet?

Well, in a very short summary.A response in car closer to that of a sealed box, but with the output of a ported box (in most cases it'll outdo a "regular" ported box, even if its only by a decibal or two).

either way, the box pictured here is far from a "double shot" anyway... its just going to act like a ported box, with alot of port area. Too much port area probably.

I'll have to wait to find out. My deck should be here any day now, and then I will tell ya how it sounds.

What is ideal for port area? I've been at this question for a while and my box design permits 122sq. inches of port area for my 4 12" L7s.
