My First "Project" Mark VIII 97 =') - HELP-

Well, this is really going to be my first project. I'm used to helping my friends with their sound systems and stuff, but i never had the car or money to build one for myself. But now i have a bit more economic independance and im ready to buidl something for my "new" Mark VIII. I wish everyone could help me giving me tips and stuff, I would really appreciate it. What I know, is that the cars comes with 8 factory jbl speakers, 5x7 and 3 inch?, please let me know if i'm wrong. I've researched the "Big 3", "Alternator Upgrade" (Not sure where to get a bigger one), an extra "Kinetik" battery.. anything else?

What IVE GOT:

SX55 Boston Acoustics with 5x7 to 5 1/4 adapter FRONT

SX85 Boston Acoustics 5x7 BACK

Boston Acoustics GT40 Amplifier for the up 4 speakers

Eclipse EA2000 for the 2 Pairs of S35 Boston Acoustics 3 1/2 speakers I WTB after i confirm the size.

Eclipse SW6124BXD Dual Enclosure with 2 12" SW6124 Subs

I'm also looking for a 500x1 rms 4 ohms to power the subs up.

Any recomendation? Suggestions? Commentaries? I would really appreciate them. Thanks.

buy a c and d battery from me for electrical help. equal to a kinetik 3800 and way cheaper. links in my sig. also i have some subs for sale if ya wanna change to some real subs lol

just read my link in my sig. ppl love them and they handle tons of power and they are better than kinetik in everyway. also they are way cheaper. drycedll is always a plus. and they last a long time. they also hold charges up to 15.4 volts if trained correctly

My buddy owned a mark VIII black on black... amazing vehicle...I just bought my second town car and installing a system as well. My biggest complaint so far is the 5x7 speaker size, I have 5x7 front and 6x9 rear in the town car and I run 6.5 comps in the front and 6.5 coaxs in the back.. circle speaker sound better typically.. If you already got the 5x7s which is seems, their fine..install em. For the sub amp I'd look to http://www.millionbuy.com/soupca2760.html

So I've been having some troubles with my car, I installed my HU with no problems Eclipse CD7000, great sound with stock car jbl system. Replace all the system with my Boston Acoustics setup turned on, everything fine. After I turned on the car for the first time after install, everything was ok , 5 seconds later, stumbling, ratling started and poof car shutted down and anti-theft system went on and I couldn't turn the car back on, until I researched how to desactivate it. Why did this happened? I'm thinking about quitting the "do-it.yourself" stuff and take it to a professional. Don't really want to do this but can someone help me out? Checking alternator and battery tomorrow.

Went to AUTOZONE, they told me I could use a new battery, planning on buying an optima yellow top and a ho Alternator. Could some one tell me where to get one at a decent price?
