I don't understand the big thing about heat shrinking the wire and what not. I have not once to ever have a problem with crimps. To me it seems like something that would take a lot longer to do.

Is there really any benefit from it besides maybe a lose connection somewhere with crimps because you didn't put them on right.

Just don't see the point I guess.
