My first car

Hey guys,

My mom is going to give me her explorer in exactly 23 days, when I get my license. It is the v8 model. This is my first car. So tell me what you think. I am very excited about it.

Mods so far:

Clear Corners with Silverstar turn lights

Chrome Grill

Silverstar lights

Sony Xplod 1000 watt amp

kicker comp vr 15" sub

alpine headunit

Removed roof rack(not in pics)

Debadged(not in pics) Everything except for the v8 badge, looks sickkk

Mods to come:

Flowmaster 40 exhaust

Nitto Terra Grapplers on stock rims(265/70/17)

Stereo:

Its going to have 1 Kicker CVR 15" powered by a 1000 watt sony xplod amp and an alpine headunit. My mom wont let me install the system right now because it "takes up to much room". But I did have the amp installed already.

I am only 15 and i spent all my money on this shit haha. Give me some inputs on what else I should do?!?!?! Ill get some more pics in a few days.

haha jk man, goodluck with that shit..in about 3 months you'll want something new..and after that you realize you have no money to do anything with because you spent it all on your system. i'm in the recovery stage.

Nice man real nice for a first car must say man im 19 still with my first car i love her though a 89 lincoln Mark VII aka sleeper. i would say ditch the sony amp get something better sony Sux asks anyone on here that knows audio well they will tell you the same thing. but good luck with it man real nice.

wow, that is a POS amp. I'd bet it does no more than 300-400 watts rms. Nice truck BTW.

looks nice dude.. I had a 97 explorer as my 1st Serious ride.. (its in my profile pic.. chekkit) I had clear corners, Billet grilles, 20's on 274/45/r20s, and 2 diff systems cuz my 1st shit got stolen haha.. but ended up wit four Abahn entry level subs on a kenwood 800watt amp and a nice lil Sony cd player (the stealth face one) I had painted some interrior pieces black and tossed in chrome pedals.. man I miss that ride sometimes.. But I stepped my game up... AH memories..
