My first box

Well a few weeks ago I purchased my first sub. This is my first system to ever own, as well as building a box. So please keep that in mind when looking at my box, I know it's not what a lot of you people on here can do, but I gathered most of my information by reading these forums, and then building my box. this is the work area, all nice and neat, Ready for building!!

I'll go ahead and jump to the fun part, the pictures explain themselves =)

sorry this one is crappy, I'll get a better one later. This was a happy moment, it fits inbetween my two bucket seats.

My single 12 sounds awesome, the SQ is really what i was looking for. I don't have an amp yet, I'm looking into a directed 1100. I heard it only whenever I hooked it up to my friends system.

yep. works like a charm at 800w for my ported 10. i dont know how you can- but 1100w to a 12 in a tiny sealed box like that might work with the gains down real far (assuming you dont have perfectly matched voltage from amp and HU)

i dont know how you can- but 1100w to a 12 in a tiny sealed box like that

well I was just going by what Re recommends for a sealed enclosure. which is 1 cubic foot. I was just planning on going with the 2ohm load(800watts) if I got that amp. No, 800 watts to an se in a sealed box will be fine, you probly could be giving it more assuming that you want more power when in sealed boxes, but if you put that in a ported box, you would only need to push out like 400-600 watts max in order for it to get its full excursions....

yes, I put dado joints for sealing purposes.
