Ok, I feel you. The Comps are cheap though, and imo don't sound that bad. 6 of those would be loud. I have 3 for my temp setup, and they're surprisingly loud. Thats also over 500sqin. of cone area.

I was saying 6 10" comps in 6cuft@35hz. Not 15s, and yes your Alpha is still haunting my dreams

2 12" R's, 150 dB @ the headrest

1 15" R, 151 dB @ the headrest

Both setups on a Kicker zx2500.1 @ 1 ohm.

I really love how loud the R's will get with such little power. They're one of my favorite subs because of their ability to do a lot with very little. You can also buy new 12's for pretty much the price of a recone of other subs. However, for people like me that compete, the soft parts wear out because of extreme over powering.

I don't know how big your cargo area is. But, I will tell you from experience that stuffing the most cone area in the back of a SUV will not always give you the best results.
