My Displeasement with the forum...

And a good opinion at that, Brock.

I am sure the boards that are visited the least will start to pick up with moderators, hopefully. I would like the moderators, when (voted, appointed, whatever) to help their board by bringing in new topics If you know what I mean...I cant explain it.

What are your guys' thoughts on Global Moderators? Yay or nay in reference to allowing two?

Enlighten me on what a global moderater is. If its a moderater who can go around all the diff. forums and change stuff then I say we should have about 2 yea. So if thats what it means, im for it.

You are correct.

Basically a moderator with the same power as the others, but isnt assigned to one board. He/she floats around throughout all of the boards.

At least on yabbse a GM is able to control all forums, move all topics..ect

Does not have banning power or **** like that

Ask Snova...he was a gm on my boards before i move him up to amin

I'd say 2 Global Mods should do the trick, but then again its not my decision...either way were getting mods, just have to wait and see how it turns out...

vBulletin is more than capable of that - permissions for every control group and function is independantly controlled.

I find the price quite reasonable for what you get and the support structure in place - you do get what you pay for for the most part.

How did you expect me to see this? I am not here long enough to read through threads to catch little notices like such - the only reason I caught it was because someone else PM'd me on my forum about it...

My e-mail service has not functioned properly for about 2 weeks now - most of my incoming never make it to me at all right now.

Had you taken the time to private message me instead of assuming I'm blowing you off, you'd have gotten a response within a day - I'm not vapor, I haven't gone anywhere, and your order hasn't been forgotten - I'm typically on AIM every night also, I may be away from the computer, but I'm usually signed on - yet another medium of communication you can use aside from a sketchy chance that I may catch a random post on a forum. You got caught on the backorder like everyone else, you received your first driver on time, it is beyond my control what UPS does to the package after it's shipped.

We are working on the replacement, your order hasn't been forgotten, it isn't on a backburner, it's just needing to be filled like the rest.

ok thats good to know...but adire isnt responding to my emails either. about PMing you here, i figured you wouldnt see it...i could use your AIM tho...you know how long its gonna be? hope you see this...sry if i came off as rude but im losing money in the bank b/c my friend isnt giving me money until i get him the driver....

They are still in limbo- they've left the build house and are on a bulk truck to Seattle - should be @ Adire any day and then they head out from there. When they tell me something - I'll pass it to you - just like I promised I would.

If you need - I can send you some cash on the interim to tide you over - I'd expect the driver to ship inside of a week since it should be @ seattle in the next day or two.
