yea thats probably harder, dont you have to make the snapper things that snap it to the rest of the car?

not for the dash you would literally make a thin shell of your dash to fit over. maybe screwing it in consealed spots into the dash or if its a permanent epoxying it down. I would probably use fiberglass cloth over mat for that project though since you want it to be thin to come as flush as possible with the pieces your not glassing. I was considering giving it a go if my kicks and rear deck come out clean looking.
