My cats dying :(

My cat is currently employed by me.

He tests all my sub boxes before I use them

bummer man.

Be an optomist, it could be worse!

We had a cocker spaniel since the week i was born (two years ago it was 19, right before it died). It was virtually blind and deaf, but that the body of a 5 year old (kind of crazy).

Anyways, mom backed over it in her F-350.

Like i said, could be worse!

I have a cat.Cats are awesome. When it's their time to go, they will. The main thing is that you are trying to get the cat medical attention. They give us unconditional love,we,in turn feed them, love them, keep them warm and take them to the vet when they need help.Their love and grattitude will remain in your heart forever.Stay strong, your cat depends on you.Good Luck!! The outcome is in the hands of the Creator...Alpine50

Yea, hes always been my boy. Pretty smart for a cat too, follows me around, knows his name, knows yes and no. Right now me and the woman have been giving him water with a dropper and cat milk/vitamin supplements, also fed him some tuna. He seems to have gotten better since the first day all this happened, the main point here is to keep nutrients and water in him i guess. I think if it was something serious he wouldve been gone by now.

We have a vet appt tommorow at 1030, i know theyre gonna bust us in the head with the bill, and my dads side of the family owns that vet and are millionaires, cant look out for family though. Never cared for them too much myself.

The first day he laid around all day, 2nd day he got up a little, now hes walking more and seems more coherent, hes been up walking around since 8am. He cant seem to turn left though, only right, which is why he walks in circles. All things that lead me to believe its a brain problem like an infection. I read that if a cat is possibly inbred his/her immune system is very week and is suseptible to problems like this. Hopefully he makes it to tommorow, but if he doesnt thats ok too. Tired of seeing him like that.

My girlfriends dads cat is almost 30 yrs old, hes gonna kick the bucket soon i know it, starting to lose hair and stuff. I had a cocker spaniel live to be 22, died from some sort of disease he got from a tick one day, he was fine otherwise though, still had a few years left. That SOB was tough too, he got hit by several cars, mail men, UPS truck, dump trucks, etc. Probably 10+ times. Hed lay there acting dead but you put some cat food infront of his old *** and he was good as new.

That sucks man, I went through this a few years ago, when my cat who was 17 died.. Healthy as can be, active and the most friendly "ppl animal" you could want.. I picked her out of the litter when i was like 9 years old,, so it was my baby.. And the only thing I wish I could have done is been there for her with my gf when she passed , but I was out looking at new cars, And that was the worst decision ever //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Losing a pet sucks, especially one that has been with you for so long, and is part of the family.. Hope everything goes well for ya man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Took him to the vet, cost 175$ to tell us he has leukemia and will probably die. Got some antibiotics and some iv fluids in him to see if thatll help ward off any infections he may have. Seems to have gotten a little better, has started scratching and cleaning himself a little.

Vet says theres a very slim chance he may heal and live a while, but very slim. Chances are he might stay the same not being able to eat and hell either starve to death or ill have him put down. No point in tube feeding him everyday and watching him wander mindlessly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
