wow really weird. the w6s are dvc. even tho w3 and w7s are svc w6 is dvc. extremely weird. on top of that tho, i wouldnt even trust what ebay says about jl.
Id also be careful about buying jl audio off ebay, they posted a thing on jl.com about wholesales selling there ish, and alot of it is damaged.

The w3v1, w3v2, w6v1, w6ae, and w6v2 were all dual voice coil.

I believe this is the first year they have made the w3's single voice coil.....

w0's were always single I think....

And the w7's are single but the 13w7 is dual 1.5ohm

Ya, i Have w3v3s and they are svc. and the w7s are svc as well, and im pretty sure the 13.5 isnt even dvc. its just the way the coil is, makes it dvc, but still technically isnt. if that makes ne sense lol

Im pretty sure jl subs are svc. i know the w7s are and my w3s are, so i dont see why the w6s would be any different

The W7's I used to run are dvc.

just get a 1000/1. im sure you can find a decent shape one for around 450. it'll be the perfect combo. make sure somebody with a dmm sets the amp up properly though

i had 2 12 w6v2 run off a Arc Audio KS1000.1 before, they sound good but sloppy sometime, replace them with 2 12 IDQv.3 no sloppy, balance, control better than w6 and love them, never go back to JL, if you spend enough money on car stereo than you know IDQv.3 are better than JLw6.

Your JL bashing is really getting old....

OP the JL 1000/1 will work for you as well as the Sundown SAZ1500D and a lot of the others listed. Just pick the one in your budget. The Sundown has a great warranty.
