Ok, so currently... my brain hurts... a lot.

I have:

SIX DVC 1ohm woofers. (12 1ohm loads)

I series each woofer. So SIX 2ohm loads.

I series each pair of woofers. So THREE 4ohm loads.

I parallel the remaining loads. So 1.33333ohms final load.

Here is the kicker, 3 woofers are inverted. 3 woofers are not.

How do I wire the 3 inverted woofers out of phase? And still come out with a 1.33333ohm load.

Here's an idea.

Wire the subs into 2 banks. The inverted ones and the non-inverted ones.

Wire the non-inverted ones like you have already, then wire the inverted ones in reverse phase.

Are you running 2 amps?

you can wire them in pairs

just reverse the wiring of one of the woofers in each pair.

i got it figured out for ya ng

parallel the 3 inverted ones t/g ( out of phase by switing the pos and the neg ) 2/3 or.666

parallel the 3 non inverted ones ( in phase) 2/3 or .6666

series those together 4/3 or 1......

Can you series together out of phase and in phase woofers?

Thats what I was going to suggest, but I wasn't sure if you could do that.

Confusing wiring ftl.

Thats the problem with that. You have to wire them in "series", but you're connecting the positive of the non-inverted with the positive with the inverted, and the same for the negative.

Hence you can see my confusion.

I would series for 2 ohm loads. Then series three subs for 6 ohm loads. Then parallel them for a 2 ohm load.

So apparently DeathByBass agrees with Jason...

I need to be 10000000% sure. I'm tired, I've inhaled A LOT of resin, and for some reason it makes me think that the Jason&DBB way doesn't make sense.

So, essentially I'm trying to get people to at least be in agreeance with eachother... before I do it.
