Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm actually going to head off to bed, I work a nice 8 hour shift tmrw. But Leave any and all info I'm gonna need, I appreciate it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And yes I'll post pics when I'm done, and with my progress //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Scroll down to 1/0 gauge wire. Its supposed to be good stuff and its really cheap.

http://www.knukonceptz.com/productMaster.cfm?Category=Battery%20Terminals Likely need two of these

http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=RT1/0516BK about 6 of these

http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=FH-20 one of these with ~250a fuse.

I believe thats it:confused:

You can get the wire from knukonceptz too, its just cheaper at welding supply.

should get at least 2 fuse holders though, need to fuse both ends of that power wire. reason being is that you dont want either side to short out for whatever reason.

*sigh*

you only fuse at the battery.

Fusing at the alternator is ultamitely useless. The alternator can only put out X ammount of current. If there is a short in the line post alternator (and hopefully pre battery) the fuse should never blow. The fuse has to be at least what the alternator can put out, the alternator cannot put out ant more current. If you fuse for less than the alternators maximum output you will be replacing fuses quite often.

OK... I was gonna say...

Fuses are only ment to protect the wire from burning up. as for amps and subs they can still fry ask typerbass about his last orion. so if you put the fuse under the hood or in the trunk befor the amp it dosent matter.

if its in the trunk and the wire were to short out say under the backseat, there is nothing to blow and stop the connection between the short and the battery, and there will be a fire

you'll needa trim the 0 gauge ring terminals for them to fit in the indent on the battery terminals for the post. or you can use the battery terminal upside down, but that would look funny.

So, after ya'll successfully jacked my thread... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
