my bass makes my car think its in an accident..need help

but there should only be two wires running into the fuel pump kill switch if there is just cut those two and wire them together
bingo.

Only use a toggle switch if you need to kill fuel pressure to work on anything fuel related on the car.

so with toggle switch, just leave it in the off posotion?

???
for one thing a stiff toggle shouldnt get tripped by bass and also you can move the switch somewhere else in the car

Maybe some thick soft rubber washers for the mounting bolts between the side panel and bracket and wrap it in a material that will buffer the vibrations. Never had this problem in my 98 but your's also looks louder. Check out crownvic.net, maybe they'll have some better suggestions.

lol yeah man do another kill switch that should get rid of it. look in your manual for the wire codes when doing it. thats about the only thing you can do
ill try n check on that the harness only has two wires if i can find out where they go then ill wire them up

lol you got a problem. weird problem but a problem.
lol..yes i do

Thats Ford for you..LOL! All seriousness.. Have you tried a jumper wire after unplugging it on the connection? To me, the switch is active when it is down.meaning that its Hott, so if the pressure kicks the button up,means it kills power, breaking the power supply/conductivity? I am a mechanical kind of guy no expert, but this is what Im seeing, or thinking watching the video. Just unplug it, and try a jumper wire, and see if that works.Worth a try, and CHEAP! Let us know if this works for you.It is only my opinion.Though this safety feature will not be active if done this way, at least you can try to see if this will work, and no splicing needed, and you can do the toggle switch with the proper amperage, and run the source up towards the dash to the toggle and back to the connection. You have full control-on/off,and if you ever sell the car, you can just plug it back in/back to stock? Try that jumper wire, and let us know if that works..I am curious:sneaky:

my whole thing is if i mess with the box and make it to where it wont come up everytime i hit a deep note than what will happen when i get in an accident an my fuel lines are still active..dont want the car to blow up

Just about every other type of vehicle has that issue??Whats the difference?Ford made those cars for the Law enforcement production line to try to help the enforcers with the issue of cutting the fuel off due to a couple of freak accidents with theyre own. What other vehicle on the market has this feature, and how many vehicles have you actually seen blow up from getting hit in the rear??I mean really? Not trying to be sarcastic man but..just think about it for a few minutes.Only other option that I can think of, is like back in 92 when i used the portable cd player into the cassete player..Not sure anyone remembers those days?? But,That thing would skipp all the time on me unlessi put it in my lap.So I made a flat piece of plastic and bought some washers, and wood door spring, and cut those out, and bolted it to the floor, and the bass would hit, and it would move but didnt skip??Later on, they came out with a plate like that, but the springs werent good enough, and expensive,or Bite the Bullet, and do the toggle/Either live with it, ordue without it?Thats Modification/dedication as they say..LOL

thanks for all ur insight..i think what ima try to do is just take some the stinger roadkill i got left and put a few layers around..and ur right cars blowing up is rare but u never know...i just want that bitchto stay down so i can jam

Have you tried getting a new switch, or from a junk yard?? go to one of those pull your own part, open all the fords and see if they match (up in plug). Maybe you have a bad switch,

naw i dont think the switch is bad its jus where the box is placed and there is so much vibrations in the trunk it triggers it
