My amp ( saz 1500d) vs kx 1200.1

Hey im getting alittle hard up for money right now and i thinking of possibly selling my current amp to possibly buy the kx 1200.1. I have always heard the kx's were powerhouses. My truck has all stock electrical and id to take away some of the strain as well. The deal on the kicker amp is almost to good to pass up.

And to be honest with you i forgot what ohm my amp puts out 1500w at? The kx i believe is 1200w @ 1 ohm. My question is how do these 2 stack up?

Thoughts and opinions please.

I use a kx series amp. I liked it, never gave me no problems. I've never used a sundown but I've heard nothing but great things.

the saz 1500 is 1500@1 ohm, so you'll be losing 300 watts but that shouldn't really be noticeable. The kx's were good amps

stick with sundown. not really worth the hassle of trading it out when the SA amp is just as good if not better than the kicker

The kx's birthsheets were commonly known to have 1400+ watt ratings. With that said, I would only do it if I was going to make money by selling the Sundown. Wont notice much if anything at all performance wise comparing the two. 100-300 watts at that level wont be noticed at all by ear.

the saz 1500 was also clamped at ~1900 watts, by jacob himself.

so the saz will do a good bit more power.

the kx1200.1's actual poer output is 1480 rms at 14.4 v 1 ohm, i currently have one and i am trying to get rid of it, let me know how much the other guy is asking maybe ill want less.

My teammates SAZ 1500 was clamped doing rated at 1.3ohm and about 12v

never owned an saz, but this kicker does do a great job and i absolutely dispise kicker so thats saying something. it is very clean very loud! and a very well built heavy duty amp, the casing is the real deal lol it like 1/4 inch thick metal, very heavy, vibrations wont be getting to the board like on a plastic amp, but i imagine the saz is pretty heavy duty too
