My alt is almost dead

So my EA 300amp is just about dead i believe.

Got it brand new like a year ago, used to pump out 14.5 at idle, than like a month or so ago it would barely get to 13.8 not playing anything.

Now today coming home from work my batt light flickered twice and dimmed bad, and now idle is 12.7ish......my batts are resting at 12.7 hahaha.

Its weird though, like driving itll be 14.0ish on and off, fluttering between that and 13.5

Guess ill just pony up and get me a new one.

Prolly go with Mechman 250....for the price and from what i read, dont see how i can do any better.

Ill be honest, i never was fully satisfied with this alt......could just be me, could be my app, could be a lot of thing.....but thats just my opinion for my vehicle

the guy that had this before me said it was chargin batts at 15.5

i might not even install it if i can get away with 2500+ on stock alt.

Yeh, i might take it off and put stock one on and see if i can at least see if its the alt not working(more than likely it is), and see if its worth fixing

my friend bought one that was used for 4 months before he got it. he had a mag v3 and a 1800 watt amp so not pulling alot. last 4 more months and it was dead. gone for good.

Well i bought it during the ROE group buy, so its longer than a year from that but i installed it last April...so less than a year on install

you might want to make sure your belt and tensioner is good first, but if the alt is dead in a year, **** thats junk.

Iraggi ****in sucks. no one should ever have to deal with him. being extremely busy doesnt make up for his poor business ethics, never answering phone or email. no matter what. dont buy off more than you can chew.

oh yea this 300A fit into a 200A case is a good marketing idea? more tightly wound? not putting out near what it should, and I paid about 600 for it.

Ima go with u, i had 2 friends who bought from him and it was just a mess...wrong brackets to fit a 300amp in caviler, never getting throught to get the right one.

Other one crapped out twice in my friend Acura, but he did make it right in the end i think...cant remember

Either way i wouldnt buy from him from my friends experience.....Nate from EA was cool...i talked to him on the phone a few times...so i wont say much more about his products other than mine is most likely dead
