My Alpine doors!!

My Alpine doors do not have any crossovers..they are types S's from 2005...i paid 100 for the pair plus another 100 for the back doors...but my HU has built in Crossovers and everything...will i not need to worry about it them blowing out cause i have subs set to 80HZ and Doors and dash set to 100hz..is that cool?? or do i need to buy an external x-over which i dont wanna spend on??thanks

they are 40w rms and 200w peak...the new model 2006s are 50w rms and 250w peak...mine are 4 ohm impedence...umm what else...i have the manual in my room..all i want to know is can i use the x-over from my HU..to make sure they dont blow when i get my 4 channel installed..it the 4 channel has no x-over either..but my HU has very nice ones..its a pioneer DEH-P7700MP..something like that...its nice..2005 model...since my HU has the x-over will all my dash speakers and door speakers be safe if i set them right??

he has the type s coaxials. deck power and crossover are fine for them. they are low powered and efficient, don't worry about it.

Depends on how low they can play.

Owners manual- read it.

I don't like crossing over any higher than 100 or lower than 80 for that range of speakers. Obviously some high quality rainbows or other top tier components could probably be more flexible but I always seem to have a tight budget and stick with teh midrange speakers.

80Hz seems to be the magic number even with shitty coaxials imho.

oh but hey...they are set at 80Hz right now...sounds good..my shop told me to keep it at that..guess i will keep it the same at 80Hz..weird how my subs and doors and dash are all set at 80Hz..humm
