that is a true statement. you dont realize how big 18s really are till you see one in person. when i saw the IA DP 21" i was like DAYUM

Nice sub. With that shallow mounting depth, it should fit behind the seat of a standard cab pick-up perfectly.

I guess the sarcasm in this statement wasn't evident

yeah ive got mesaurements. When I take off the back track deal with the hump in it, I can have a few more inchs of depth

Is there a pole vent on it? If so, and you had that vent covered like when it was sitting on whatever it was sitting on, sometimes subs make a noise similar to that. When you put it in a box and the vent is too close to the back of the box, the same thing can happen. That was the problem with my cousins fi q in his lightning. If no pole vent, then i dont know what that was.

If that cab design behind the seat is the same as the '01 body, good luck! that thing sure as heck wont fit in an 01 unless you are literally riding the dash, even then i doubt it. we had a hard time with mounting a 12" tc-9 with a 4 spoke basket and having it clear for pole venting and excursion.

Not trying to discourage you, but it will be a tough one. Sounds fun tho!
