to each his own. I had 2 as well. 1 of each. My first was a 91 stick. I just prefer my SUVs to be autos.

traffic can be a ***** lol. but yea i would prefer to have a auto explorer...but i wont trust an auto ford ****** for a minute right now. until they get their auto trannys down pat i wont touch it.

no problems with the auto at least... no problems at all actually, bought it with 43k miles on it, have just changed the oil twice, put 15k on it in about a year and it's holding up great.

Yeah, There Autos, only last around 100-150k miles.

Dont know why exactly.

There fine in other Ford cars but Explorers are just hell on em I guess.

BTW, this thing hits the lows REALLY good. but im seeing a small issue in some of the middle freqs. gonna look into it.

auto is better just cuz then you can control deck better

after owning nothing but manual explorers i can control my deck just fine...and the eclipse decks arent the easier to navigate.
