Thanx guys, I don't remember exactly how long it took but I had a buddy who helped me the whole way and we were very tenacious on getting it done. We only worked on it on Tuesday evenings and Wednesdays all day. 6 weeks is about what it took.

Anyone know what those amps are???

looks good man. to bad the seats done fold down in our grand prixs than you can see the subs. but you can still see a little through the pass thru so i gets its not that bad. nice work.

I'm jealous... I've wanted those subs for a long time. I've got an all Premier setup currently, but with the newer stuff. That P9 (if that's what it is) is sick. Clean install!

pioneer premiers ?
Yep, you're correct. The PRS series to be exact.

Look like the older version of the pioneer subs and amps. Nice clean *** install. One of the nicer ones on this site.
Good job and enjoy the hell out of that, which I am sure you will.

Mad respect!
Yeah, I'm going to be messin with that P9 combo for a while tuning it to just where I want it. I set it to flat with an RTA but a flat response just doesn't sound that good to me. But thanks for the compliment bro:D.

Thanx man.

Yeah, tell me about it. From straight on you can see a little bit of each sub through the pass thru. From either side you see the sub on the opposite side.

I've actually had the P9 combo for a few years now but never installed into anything. Now it's finally in and it sounds great. I'm no where near done tuning it completely yet. I'll probably do some playing around with crossover points and slopes as well as phase adjustments. I already saved my initial adjustments and wrote them down so if I need to start back over again I can.

Why did you choose the MTX speakers overall
I've had them for a while and loved how they sounded in my last vehicle and didn't feel like spending a bunch of money on some high priced seperates. Black Gold are some of the best drivers MTX has ever made to date. I even have a pair of Black Gold 6.5" midbass drivers that I want to eventually put in I'm going to have to mod the door skin to allow it to fit. But the Blue Thunder 5.25" drivers offer good midbass in their own right.

Nice HU and how do those subs sound? I liked em on the wall at my old work. never heard them in a proper install
These are by far the best subs I've ever run. I'm strictly an SQ guy so I don't need anything that loud. These subs have a smooth response and are very accurate and blend in with the rest of the sytem great. I have them in a dual 1 cubic foot sealed box made out of 1" MDF. I'm only giving them about 420 watts a piece.
