Multiple RCA's. Would really like some help please...

Ok here is my situation. At the moment I have 2 subs and 1 amp. I am adding to that a new more powerful sub, and 2 amps. Is there such a thing as a distribution block for RCA's? So i plug in one set that comes from my stereo, and 3 sets out of it. I'd like to know if such A thing exists, if so where can I get one?

you can run two sets of y-adapters to turn one set of rcas into two and then three. Or if your deck has more than one set of rca outputs you could just run another set or two of rcas.

most amps have an RCA output. just connect the output from amp1 to the input of amp2

make sure if you are using 2 amps on one sub that ALL of your settings match EXACTLY. Gains, Low-Pass, SubSonic, all MUST be the SAME.

Yeah I did do that when I had 2 amps in, but that's a little annoying, and due to the size of the y-adapters it makes it a bit tricky to get to the amps and still hide the wires.

Strap the amps together and run them in master/slave mode if they support it.

Otherwise there isn't much you can do other than using a couple Y-Splitters, or a second output from your head unit if it's available.

I have a brand new monster cable 6-channel RCA's if interested. Looks a lot better than the Y-adapters and better than running three separate sets of RCA's. If you H/U has three RCA pre-outs, then this would be a perfect match for ya. $65 shipped

go to radio shack. They have a black abs plastic panel with either 6 or 8 rca jacks on it.

Only thing is you would need to flip it over and solder all the terminals together with wire. Inside to the inside and outside to the outside for each side.

Then run RCAs into it and RCAs out to the amps. Works just fine.
