Multiple RCA input vs Single

Hi guys. My amplifier has 3 RCA inputs (1/2, 3/4, and sub). Now the amplifier will pull the signal for all channels if I only input into 1/2. Assuming there will be no crossover and only full range signals. Would there be any advantage to running 3 input RCA's over a single?

If your amp will actually let you only use one set of RCA's then there will be very little no difference in using one set of RCAs vs. three. The only upside may be that you will have more input voltage to the amp allowing for the gain to be set lower. I still feel that you wont see/hear and different in it.

Try it out, if you dont like the sound, add the other sets. Best advise anyone can give you.

Sounds like the amp just parallels the inputs when only one's connected. That won't have any effect on signal voltage. All your amp settings should still work as normal. The disadvantage is if your HU has front/rear/sub outs and you only use one (rear for example) you'll lose any sub controls your HU has, and you won't be able to fade.

I'd use all 3 HU outputs if you have them -- if not, one will work fine.
