multiple batteries and alternator

I am about to undergo a huge system transformation. I am moving up the spectrum to audiophile. This means I am using serveral amps (right now its looking like 4). I have a nasty old battery and a standard alternator. I want to get a new battery, hook it up to one or two others in the trunk and get the alternator rewound. This is where I need your expert advice. Can you give me advice what brand batteries to get. Or a site that shows how to hook all this madness us. Much appreciated. And by the way I blew my perfects also, so I am going to get some subs that can handle power.

For starters we need to know what amps and subs you plan on running. I would say you should be fine with a optima yellow top or 2 depending your application. You can use a batt iso to run 1 batt under the hood and 1 in the back...

start with the alt and big 3 wiring kit. yeah it would help to know what amps you plan on running and also if you play you system with the engine off alot.
