i have a d1 sub and 2 hifonics bxi2607ds. i have them strapped at 2ohms right now. i dont want to drop the amps to .5strapped but if i was to wire the sub to .5 on one amp and then wire the sub to .5 on the other amp, would that work? i was thinking about it today and couldnt come up with a good reason why it shouldnt work in theory.

the gains would be set identical and both amps come off the last battery in my bank so they see the same voltage.
