I have a kenwood amp with these specs

#

Class D Monoblock Amplifier

# Maximum Output Power: 1000 watts

# RMS Power Output:

* 300 watts x 1 channel @ 4 ohms

* 500 watts x 1 channel @ 2 ohms

# 2 ohm stable

# Frequency Response: 5 Hz-200 Hz

# Low-Pass Filter: 50 Hz-200 Hz, 24 dB/Octave

# Variable Input Sensitivity: 200 mV - 5 V

# Line Output Terminals for Extension

# Infrasonic Filter: 15 Hz, 25 Hz, 18 dB/Octave

powering two kenwood subs with these specs

*

Two 10" Subwoofers with 4-ohm voice coil

* stainless steel-coated polypropylene cone with rubber surround

*

power range: 50-300 watts RMS (1000 watts peak power)

*

frequency response: 30-800 Hz

# sealed box volume: 1.0 cu. ft.

# ported box volume: 1.25 cu. ft.

# Power Handling:

* 300 watts RMS per sub

* 1000 watts Peak per sub

* 2000 watts Peak per pair

and i would like to bridge it to a power acoustik amp wit these specs

* Full Selectable Crossover Hi/FULL/Low * Three Way Protection Circuit * 2 Ohm Stable Stereo * Tri-Mode Capable * Variable Low Pass: 40Hz-250Hz * Variable High Pass: 40Hz-250Hz

i use the power acoustik to power

2 6x8 4 ohm pioneer premiers, and two alpine 6x8 power range: 2-75 watts RMS (230 watts peak power)

I have the RCA's from the HU going to my kenwood amp and another set of RCA's going from the rear speaker wires through a high low converter to my power acoustik amp

when i turn the volume up past 20 on my hu which is a sony xplod the subs will cut off and the amp for them will stay on and the 6x8s will play fine

I have a 5 gauge power wire going into two 8 gauge power wires for the amp through a distribution block from scosche and two 8 gauge grounds going into a seat bolt in a 99 mustang coupe

why do the subs cut off when i get past 20?
