if you have 1/0, big 3, and a battery in the back for the amp then you can probly maintain 14v, then yes 1500w. otherwise you're looking at about 1250w @ 12v

Yeah it will do that and probably more than that at 14v. MTX underrates their amps.

word. my 1501d (same as 81000) does well over 1500@2 if i wanted it to.

too old? i dont get that. most old amps are well underrated. imo the older ones are more underrated than the new ones. common for old amps to state their 4ohm 12.5v ratings on the amps. now it common to see the stable impedance 2ohm or 1ohm etc and at 14.4v. so i cant see where age has anything to do with output.

Mine says 1368 @ 2 ohms. Oops I thought you said TA81001.
