Mtx V.s. Kicker?

Im not trying to start WWIII, but was wondering what ya'll think, more output/sql/ better sub, in same conditions: Thunder 9500 15" or Kicker L7 15" ?

Use the search function there are plenty of threads about this. Imo the l7s easily top the 9500s.

I've had both, a single 9500 will outperform an L7 .... sorry, I've used them both in many applications in about 4 different vehicles and 9500s always come out on top. If you want complete mayhem, get a couple 12" 9500s and tune them to 38hz, it's just absolute insanity. I ran my colossus off a couple in a sledgehammer(spl box) and i couldn't see straight if I had to when I was driving around. L7s are just about as nasty, but I think the 9500s have a tad more juice. Although, for the price and performance, I would take an L7, they are extreeeemely cheap for the massive amount of output that they carry.

Iv heard them both and they both sound good. But i went with the 9500. I have 2 12 9500's powered by Ma audio hk-802sx and it will put out sum bass.

MTX will take more power...and has A LOT more excursion than the L7..and its just a better built sub. BUT..i believe for the price of a 9515, you could get a SoloX...if your buying through retail store.

around here they charge about the same for either sub...mtx is prolly a little more

15 solo x here is over $1k I think. L7 is about 450 and 9500 is 600 iirc. However the folks selling the mtx here can get talked down, the kicker dealers...won't budge.

Can get an 12" X here for like 700 at once place I know of.
