MTX thunder 6000 15"

I dont know about the subs very much, only seen them. But from what I saw it seemed like their magnet structure was very cheap and small. I would deffinenly take a 12" SE or K before I got a 15" MTX 6000, and the SE's and K's would take the cake in any aspect of bumpin (in my opinion). However, all about install.

i have 2 of em and i have hit 148.7 with a ported box that is falling apart there is serious db to be made off of these subs with the right box and amp! im runnin a powe acoustik lt980 to mine and they will make the front windshield move about 1/2 or so (good enough to make it look scary)

Nice score, old thread...

im running two 10" mtx thunder 6000's and ive been nothing shy of impressed. i think their db rating is 89 or so. like the other guy said about the magnet structure, it is small which concerned me but i am more than satisfied with the purchase. im running them in a bandpass box through a kenwood 800w and have no problems. though ive heard from some reviews at high volumes over a period of time you do develop a little cone rattle. so if you dont abuse them you will be alright
