Hey guys,

new to the forum and thought i could get some help.

I can get both these amps for the same price so price isnt an issue.

TC6004 specs: 75W x 4 RMS at 4 ohms

GTO75.4 II : 104 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms

There RMS doesnt really concern me I'm looking for quality/performance mainly.

My front components are 90W RMS and rear are 100W RMS.

Thanks.

I would say both of those amps are undersized for your speakers. Sure, matching amplifier RMS rating and speaker RMS rating is the safe, conservative approach. But you won't be taking full advantage of your speakers if you do that.

I would look for an amp that can put out 150-200w rms per channel.

What kind of speakers do you have?

Front: I still haven't been able to decide. I know I want components though. My budget for them is $200-250. I was thinking the MTX TX6001 90W RMS, 180W Peak but I haven't been able to decided on the fronts.

Rear: MTX TDX6902 100W RMS, 200W Peak. Just got them from Futureshop, they were on sale for $100 so I couldn't let them slide.

You can wire those subs up @8 ohms if they are both SVC4 ohm subs, and that amp will run fine after being tuned properly...

I didn't see where there was a difference (didn't see a "light" or "lite" version). That said, if you can fit it, then the JBL BassPro SL 2 would...
