I haven't read too many great reviews about the 9500 series but if you are getting it at a good price, go for it.

MTX overhypes their products to the point that it's unbelievable. I never recommend them just because of that. The 9500 is a dandy sub, but they've made some ridiculous claims, like that it's un-blowable. Give it to me and I can blow it in about a minute with a wall socket.

I loved mine.. i have 2 MTX 9500 12s in 8cu and it slammed.. get one
