I am planning on getting a FI Q.I was either going to go w/ the mtx ta7801 or the hifonics bxi1206d.But the thing is w/ the mtx it has 0 Gauge Power Connectors with Built-In 4 Gauge Capacitor Terminals.I dont understand what the capacitor terminals are?.I am running 4 gauge at this moment and that is what the hifonics accepts. So i am stuck not knowing what to go with. You guys are much more knowledgeable.

The Hifonics is cheaper, but I would not say it's a better amp. MTX might make crappy subs but they still make very good amps. Their just a little more spendy cause your payin for the name. You should look into getting in on the Audioque pre order sale. 1200 watt amp at 1 ohm for $239 shipped if you order before Jan. 1. The amp wont ship till closer to the end of Jan though. http://www.audioque.com/aq/AQamps.htm I would take this amp over the hifonics for sure.

O and you dont have to use the capictor terminals on that mtx amp. It's just incase you have a cap you can wire it in directly to the amp.
