MTX or DD?

Im currently looking to get a new system thats hopefully better than my last. Last time i went on the cheaper route and ended up with some Audiobahn Eternal 12's and although they were loud they still lacked a lot in SQ and even as loud as they were its not close to what I wanted, same goes for the shotty Audiobahn Amp that I was running.

I have done a lot of searching but so far I havent been able to get any good refrences on what would really perform better, the MTX T9512 or the DD 9512. Im sorta pushing towards the DDbrand as they seem to be rather highly reguarded in most cases but im wanting some extra input if possible.

Im installing 2 of whatever I end up getting into a 1983 Camaro and using the 2 Amps I already have, 2 MTX TA81001. 1500w @ 1ohm or 1000w @ 2ohm RMS. I figure those should push just about any 12 inch sub whether its a DD or an MTX 9512.

Does anyone here have any good info on what ones would be better to get? I dont know how much the DD subs run but the MTX subs I can get for about 400$ US a piece. I do care about SQ but my main driving force is making it as loud as I can. If anyone has some good input it would be greatly appreciated.

Buy one dd 9512 and put both amps on it.

Wouldnt putting both of those amps kinda really push the limits of just one of those speakers? That would be running 3000w RMS to one sub @ 1 ohm. They only list being able to do 1500w RMS @ 1 Ohm.

I want it loud but not cause of a speaker exploding lol.

Yeah, the DD will take it. Definitely get the DD setup. you will be much happier with the all around quality of the subs over the MTX. I would go with a 9515 and put both amps to that. Now that will WANG in that hatchback!!
