MTX MZS1204 vs. Kicker CVR

Okay, another versus thread guys... I would like some opinions from people that have heard both subs. I can get both on eBay new for about the same price (the Kickers being about $20 more) shipped. I would get two of these (12"s), so any help would be appreciated. I will be using a ported box tuned to 35Hz, and a JBL BP600.1 amp (600 x 1 @ 2 ohms.) I am looking for somewhat of a SQL set up, but SPL is more important to me.

Also, they sell the 12" 5500 MTX subs for $160 shipped on eBay, about the same as the Kickers.

Do you think they will be loud?

I have never heard Kicker outside of the Circuit City testing room crap, and there were other subs playing...

I have heard both the mtx 5500's and the comp cvr's. Both setups had a kicker 800.2 on them. The cvr's were much louder. They were in a 4.5 cubic foot box tuned to 30hz. I used to have 2 10" cvrs with 2 mtx 421 D's on them and they shook the walls in my house.......just to let you know they do get loud.
