i own quiet a few and when did i ever say they were the best i originally opened this thread to say how good of customer service i got from mtx!! and then people started talkin trash so whatever !! to me personally i am very happy with them and i will not change my setup.. thanks and thats all i have to say for now..

i wouldnt diss lightning audio subs. ive put a pair of x1's on my 3250.1 and they took it just fine.

I like the MTX subs... mine does 146+dB off 1800watts, in a musically tuned box...

however, they don't actually have a dust cap!!!!

the surround is STITCHED to the cone!!!

yes, but its glued and stitched to the cone...

it is therefore part of the cone, and not something you can "fix"

and if its dented, its not a manufacturer defect!!!

that, and its strong enough to stand on it in the first place!!!

you can replace an inverted dustcap if its glued. actually all dustcaps are glued to the cone
