Ive never been a big fan of MTX. They try waaay to hard to show that they're the best car audio brand. ever. and it just gets annoying and over the edge; mainly because I know their claims are bull.

They said the Thunder 8500 would be a lot louder than an L7

They claimed that their Thunder Axe components would spank any other components on the market

They claimed their amps were better than RF's because they had better caps and ran cooler.

dont attention to these comparisions.mtx is a big liar in compareisions and try to makes people thinking mtx is the best in the world and no one can beat him in all fields(db sq spl ....)

I Agree the color looks gay but I would like to see if the subs can actually hang with a L7. Never been a big fan of MTX gear myself though, just not my cup of tea.

yea, see the irony when they bashed L7's in 2000, and have since day 1, and yet now MAKE some, but they do look, uh, not so good live too...like some pizza's, really cheesy.

all i can say is we are completely satisfied qwith the way they sale, perform, and actual performance. Maybe others 'copying' the design know what is selling? Still, have you tried the CVX sealed?

The CVX is a godly woofer, as far as widely available woofers go. I love mine.
