MTX amp overheating and burned a fuseholder

ok how is mine hooked up right now, i dont get how what you say makes it 4 ohm because it seems like it is hooked up like that right now. how do u know that its not in a series?

should i just go to someone who knows wtf they are doing because no one here is helping me one bit, i learned more on a site about how to put in a series than anyone because you guys all use crazy *** words that i have no idea what they mean.. sorry to be mean but im just mad that this is not workign and i cant do anything about it.

it might be in series now... it might be perfectly fine right now...

it is overheating lol, and people say its bridged and to unbridge it. i dont know how to unbridge a bridged amp..

well it turned off twice and on the second time it blew the fuseholder. i had this system installed yesterday, and blew the fuseholder the same day. i got a new fuseholder today, and the amp still is overheating like crazy and i dont turn it up much at all because i do not want to blow the fuseholder. the amp gets ridiculously hot after just 1 song of play without subwoofer control turned up to 1/4 and volume very low.

Ok, i figured out that the wiring is parallel, so putting it as series would fix it or what

more than likely yes...

one way to find out...

just make sure you connect it right.

k well im willing to take my chances cuz if it doesnt work ill have to buy a fan. series doenst effect my subs in any way right?

we have a problem, the positives are connected right before they are attached to the black terminal. the negatives are connected to each other also right before they connect to the black terminal. i do not know if series wiring is a possibility.
