mtx 9515 spl,sq or both

how good is the sub would it handle 1300 watts ported i am not competeing just want something louder and sounds better then my cvr15 which sounds good just want to try something new oh ya i want to run this on a hifonics hercules-xx @2ohms 1300 watts

depends on what enclosure u get it in....its obviously gonna be alot of spl.....you couldn't have not expected that...but as for sq they are really clean hittin subs.....tune it low and it will wang

yea I would defeintly tune it low but I did not like there sq at all i dont know what they were tuned to but I thought a 12" solo-x tuned to 30 hz sounded better to me but they defiently wanged super hard.

hmmm x2 on the low noterr.....i think it was a 25hz tone i herd the 9500 i herd was hittin...it was actually pretty amazing....never herd a CVX as they arnt even sold yet....they are brand new, but im actually seriously contemplating gettin a pair when they come out.....L7 are loud, but like to be tuned higher.....9500 are good, just tune it low and feed it all the power you can

edit: actually i lied....ive herd a type x do a 25 hz tone before

9500's are SPL as far as I am concerned

they are beasts sealed or ported

definatly not my TDX's are more along the lines of SQL

and 2 9500's will be substantially louder that my 2 tdx's

MTX subs overall bass sound is exagerated while DA is more natural

sounding - to me ears
