Apparently Ames Iowa is the end of the universe for car stereos, or you work for cyclone. None the less every woofer is different. I had an h2 12 that was getting 1000 watts, and it was sloppy and slow. The box was built to spec by my brother that went to the installer institute. The techs at Orion also told me that for best SQ the H2 needs between 2000 and 2500 watts for best sound.

i have an h2 sealed on a JL 1000/1 and it is low and accurate. maybe you are a little off on your install. i have a c2k 9.0 in my boat that i want to put on it, but it will have to wait until the weather gets a little better.

I only bought it cuz I always had Orion years ago. I blew one of my Ntense 12's so I figured H2 would be better right.. I did not do my research and had been out of the game for a few years.

Im getting a brahma 15 so no worries anyway

I have another ? for you guys............ so say i go with w7's is it really worth it to get the 13 over the 12? Im going with a 2 sub setup and would have two of either the 12 or 13, but the price for the 13 is a $100 more is it worth it ? Both ported by the way.

The 12w7 displaces about 2.9L, and the 13w7 4.4L, so the 13w7 is capable of about 3dB more linear output than the 12w7. Whether or not that is worth $100 is upto you.
